The Business Challenge
Utilizing the existing technology stack to provide multi-functional business intelligence type reporting to the various stakeholders (operation-, tactical- and executive users) across all operations.
The solution’s data exploitation layer was implemented within Oracle’s OBIEE front end tool. The associated presentation and visualization consisted of tabular reports, graphical reports, GIS type reports, extensive and complex executive dashboards, as well as support – and control type reporting. With the standard repository maintained centrally and deployed to 20 countries, the operations could design and develop their own reporting, based on specific needs, via the OBIEE self-service capability. This complex model, of more than 200 reports and dashboards, centralized repository administration and release management, was achieved through a hybrid of onsite and remote services.
