The business faces a challenge to address the proliferation of large and non-standard client datasets used in different areas of the business to service processes such as credit risk, MIS, and marketing automation.
PBT provided strategic consulting and advisory services, the required thought leadership and performed the necessary Research & Development, as well as designed and implemented a Big Data roadmap, including:
- Strategy and roadmap definition, as well as Vendor selection.
- Hortonworks development and implementation (production of cluster)
The solution comprised of the supporting Solution Architecture and environment implementation and configuration.

Through Big Data technology, the client can now use the plethora of information to continually track client behaviour in real time. This real-time evaluation will in turn boost overall performance and profitability.
The implemented solution allows the client to
- Centrally store all customer related data in a cost effective, optimal manner.
- Execute scoring models on volumes of data, previously not possible on the traditional platforms, using the new Big Data cluster.
- Use the platform as a base, from which subsequent Analytic applications can be developed.
